Happy November!
This week, a wrap up of all the trades in this portfolio in October.
It'll be a short update because the month of October ended in the middle of the week so even though there are other trade updates, I'm going to push them to next week to be part of November's trade updates.
For the updates this week:
$136 profit across 4 trades in October
$136 profit in October
October has been the toughest month for options positions this year.
I placed 4 new trades in this portfolio, and even though they're all positive, I haven't taken anything off for a profit - although I'm sure that will change in the next week or two.

With October done, here's the running total of realised profits since the course's inception:
Year One (Sep 2022 - Aug 2023) - $3,422
Sep 2023 - $462
Oct 2023 - $136
This brings the total for the last 14 months to a realised profit of $4,020 or a running monthly average of $287.
I'd love for the profits from options trading to be in the same range from month to month, but unfortunately there are good months and not-so-good months - the key is to keep at it and generating cashflow every month no matter what.
If you're familiar with options and want to follow along the trade updates, you can sign up for my Bread Crumb subscription which is priced at $49/month.
i.e. over the last 14 months you would have paid $686 and made $4,020 - or 5.8x the subscription fee.
Every trade I share with them (and you) is from my real portfolio, which means I have skin in the game! If the trade isn't making money, I'm not making money either. The silver lining in this month's portfolio management is I've been able to share a lot about my thoughts and strategies with my private community, and how we're going to get out of these challenging positions together - with profits!
Do note none of these are recommendations - I'm just sharing trade updates within my own portfolio which may or may not be right for you.
Closing words & useful links
We had something of a strong rally this week - I don't know if I'm personally convinced, but it doesn't matter how I feel - I just make adjust my trades according to what the market does.
One position that has been really languishing in my portfolio is the assigned position in O. They have earnings coming out next week, and if the market likes what they have to say, it may finally be the right time to start selling covered calls.
