$793 profit in 8 trades in November 2024

Hello! 

 

November was a another great month for options. 

 

I had 6 older trades, placed 6 new trades, and had a total of 8 trades close for a profit this month, leaving just 4 trades still open. 

 

ps: in case you don't read all the way to the end, I'm taking the next 2 weeks off like I usually do over the holiday season. It's a lot of work churning this newsletter every week for 50 consecutive weeks!

For the update this week:


  1. $793 profit across 8 trades in November


 

$793 profit in November


Markets don't like uncertainty, and the outcome of the election was anything but uncertain. 

 

This led to the S&P rising nearly 6% in November and a huge drop in volatility from the VIX reading about 21 on the last day of October vs 13.51 on the last day of November.

With November done, here's the running total of realized profits since the course's inception:


  • Year One (Sep 2022 - Aug 2023) - $3,422

  • Year Two (Sep 2023 - Aug 2024) - $6,292

  • Sep 2024 - $1,373

  • Oct 2024 - $807

  • Nov 2024 - $793


This brings the total for the last 27 months to a realized profit of $12,687 or a running monthly average of $469.
