Happy 2026!
Before sharing December's update, I wanted to share a top level view of this portfolio in 2025.
Overall I entered 52 trades in 2025 and I'm ending the year with 3 open trades. All other trades were closed for a profit.
The oldest position in this portfolio was opened just 2 weeks ago on 23 December 2025, and it's only being carried over to 2026 because it's so new.
All other trades entered before that in 2025 were closed for a profit.
That's 49 or 94% of trades closed for a profit, zero realized losses and zero liquidation events. I think the portfolio went through the year without any assignments, which is a pretty big achievement considering all the volatility we had in Q2.
By the way this only counts the “official” trades and not the bonus trades, which have also been closed for a profit (except a few which are still open).
Overall I'm really happy with the portfolio this year. My goal has never been to make huge profits, but rather to utilize my system to produce consistent and sustainable cash flow in all types of market conditions, especially bad ones.
On that front the system and portfolio did exceptionally well in 2025. 40% of my overall profits came from just 3 months in April, May, and June, amidst the tariff volatility.
The strategy doesn't just work in turbulent times, in fact it thrives (if you follow the risk management guidelines).
Anecdotally from emails and DMs, I know that people who have taken my course and learnt my strategy remained pretty safe in 2025 (with a few assignments), but even then it was nothing that they couldn't get out of.
2026 will be the 13th year of my options trading journey and I'm quietly confident that it'll be another good year for this income stream and every day I'm thankful I took the leap in 2013 to pick up this method of making money.

Closing thoughts & useful links
It's good to be back writing the newsletter and December was a really good month, capitalizing on a slightly volatile November.
I don't know if we're going to enjoy as much volatility in 2026, but I'm definitely looking forward to making new trades and getting that cash flow going.
Have a good weekend!
